Hi everyone,

It's that time of the year again when it appears that someone has pressed a fast forward button, leaving people in a bit of a spin trying to keep up with everything that needs to be taken care of before the end of the year is upon us! Take heart - the world is still turning at its usual pace, it is simply many members of the human species who have flown into a collective panic, resulting in a ripple effect that touches us all at some level. If this sounds like you, STOP NOW!!! Right; doesn't that feel better? Good - at times of high stress potential, remember this feeling, and allow yourself the comfort of knowing that you can return to this place of stillness at any time you choose. There are many times in life when the need to just be still, to regather yourself, is necessary. We can spend hours, days or months working on a project and never take time out to celebrate the completion of the various stages of creation. We forget that this, too, is an important part of the process of manifesting our goals. Celebrating the completion of something, acknowledging our achievements, is an important ritual that is all too often overlooked in this world of forging ahead and getting on with the next thing on the list. Apart from being fun, it helps us to weave this newness into the fabric of our lives, making our changes tangible.

The Four of Wands tells us that a certain level of completion in our creative endeavours has been reached, and we are being offered the opportunity to pause and recharge our batteries before continuing on. Although the temptation to ignore this message is often great, it comes with a significant lesson. Letting go of what no longer serves us in life - attitudes, living situations, lifestyles - can be quite a challenge. It can be easy to slip back into old ways as we suddenly find ourselves filled with fear of this unfamiliar territory we've launched ourseles into. When we make the decision to transform ourselves, we are planting the seeds of our future selves, future realities, and as any gardener will tell you, it is important to provide this precious new life with the nourishment it needs in order to flourish. This card counsels us in the wisdom of honouring the changes we have created in our lives so that they become anchored in the NOW, allowing them to give us confidence in our abilities and to inspire us to continue moving forward as we manifest our dream life.

Happy holidays everyone; whatever you get up to, have some fun and enjoy being with those you love!

Hello everyone!

Well here we all are again, at the beginning of another year. The beginning of another opportunity to look at ourselves and how we're living and decide whether everything's going along smoothly, or that it's time for a change! So, if the latter is the case, got any fabulous plans brewing? Or is that just a bridge too far at this point? Well you know, that's ok. Recognising tht something has to change is change iin itself. What you do with that realisation is up to you; the moment you decide that you're not happy, that you want something different for yourself, the Universe regisers this thought, and then waits for you to put some action around it. The ball is in your court - how exciting! Those of you who have read my column before know that I usually focus on a particular card in the Tarot deck each month, which I have chosen intuitively. For this 1st edition of the year however, in celebration of the newness that surrounds us, I felt to offer a more general message about finding ones' way; to pass on to you what was passed on to me when I found that I was at a crossroads in life and was in serious need of some road directions!

To be able to live life as if every day is a holiday, earning money through doing something that we are passionate about, that calls us, is a great Blessing. There is much public debate about how to get to this point in your life, and even about who amongst us deserves this Honour! Personally, I feel that if you are alive, then you have the right to be happy. Doing what calls us makes us happy - it is not a choice, it just IS. Living life embracing our calling leads to both challenging and wonderful experiences, and will ultimately introduce you to a part of yourself that you may have sensed existed, but, for the most part, were completely unaware of. But where to start? How is this mysterious calling heard? Well for me, I was given the gift of crossing paths with a very wise woman who took me under her wing and gave me permission to learn how to play again, to discover what it was that I loved in life; to just BE. Through sharing her passion for Tarot, she helped me to ignite my own. This Sacred tool that is the Tarot has gone on to open many doors within me that I didn't even know were closed, allowing me to explore the highways and byways in life that I would otherwise have missed. Every one of us has something unique to offer the world. This is not a privilege reserved for a select few, but a Divine gift available for all. Of course, the gift is yours to open, or push to the back of the closet. But it's there, waiting to enrich your life in the mot unexpected and glorious ways - whenever you're ready.

Take care everyone.
